Matt LaCosse – TE
Several other players stood out outside of who we have talked about above. Matt LaCosse has had a great training camp for the Broncos and made the most of the opportunities given by finding the open seam on a Chad Kelly pass for a touchdown.
Other players that stood out:
Zack Kerr: maintained gap integrity and anchored in run support making tackles in the backfield.
Shelby Harris: proving once again that he can be a consistent role player, batting down the quarterback’s passes at the line of scrimmage.
Next. Broncos players who must improve after opener. dark
Sam Jones: for first game action as a pro, Jones was very solid at guard and didn’t allow any pressures on the QB. He may be a guy that finds himself in the mix if Connor McGovern struggles at any point this season.
Were there any other standouts that you felt should have been recognized, Broncos Country?
