Josey Jewell – ILB

Josey Jewell was an impressive pickup for the Denver Broncos in this year’s NFL Draft. In many scout and media members opinions, Jewell might be one of the biggest steals in this year’s NFL draft exclusively.

He made his debut for the Denver Broncos on Saturday and quickly grew.

He was out of position on Trevor Siemian’s dump off screen to Roc Thomas which went for a 78-yard score, however, after that Jewell was everywhere.

Jewell commanded the defensive huddle and aggressively filled his gaps in the run game. He fought off the guard and center trying to double team him and made the play.

Wherever the football went, Jewell was right there.

He finished the game with three tackles, but his overall impact cannot be defined by that. Jewell has a legitimate shot at overtaking one of the Broncos’ starters at inside linebacker this season if he continues to play how he did on Saturday.
