Brendan Langley – CB

Brendan Langley had a rough training camp, but having a rough training camp doesn’t always translate into having a rough game experience.

Langley had a great game for the Broncos on Saturday and here’s why he stood out.

He was much better in his coverage drops and appeared to be the most ‘in position’ player outside of Will Parks with the second and third units.

Langley also set up a very pivotal block on Isaiah McKenzie’s punt return touchdown. If he didn’t make that block, I’m confident that McKenzie wouldn’t have returned it for a score.

He has struggled with his confidence since entering the NFL and he proved on Saturday that he could be bigger than what he’s been doing in camp.

As the Broncos and Bears hold joint practices this week, he’ll have an opportunity to get reps against some talented wide receivers from the other team ahead of their matchup on Saturday.
