Denver Broncos: Players who stood out against Minnesota
By Cody Roark
Will Parks – Safety
Following the offseason addition of Su’a Cravens, many felt that Will Parks would be out of the Broncos rotation at safety. Parks had other plans throughout training camp.
He primarily worked with the ones and showcased on Saturday that he won’t go down without a fight. Parks had a stellar game from the secondary and played the entire game with the starters and into the fourth quarter.
His angle to the football demonstrated that he is more than capable of patrolling the middle of the field, and he also proved that he can be a viable option as a dime linebacker.
Early in the first quarter, Parks stunted inside the A-gap and sacked former teammate and now Minnesota Viking, Trevor Siemian.
Parks finished Saturday’s game with five tackles and one sack. He also set up blocking downfield on Isaiah McKenzie’s 78-yard punt return.
In my opinion, Parks was the most impressive player in the Broncos loss.
