Brandon Marshall, LB

Another one of the Broncos’ starters who has to be better is Brandon Marshall.

Marshall is one of the leaders of the Broncos’ defense and one of the best all-around linebackers in the NFL.

To see him miss tackles is rare, but that’s exactly what happened on one of Latavius Murray’s big runs.

The Broncos’ defense, in general, was pretty badly gashed by Murray and the Vikings’ rushing attack on that first drive.

Marshall has worked incredibly hard this offseason to get his playing weight down, but that athleticism needs to translate to on-field production.

We’re not overreacting here, but the absence of Todd Davis can’t make this much of a difference for the Broncos’ run defense.
