Even after having a very quiet rookie season, it is still way too early to consider last year’s second-round draft pick DeMarcus Walker a bust.

This offseason, Walker bulked up to his college playing weight at around 280-plus pounds, and moved back inside to the defensive line after the Broncos tried to move him to outside linebacker.

Hopefully, the move back to his natural position will help him to live up to his massive NFL potential.

Walker was an unstoppable force on the defensive line for Florida State, and the idea of moving him to an outside linebacker position made no sense for any other reason than the Broncos just needed bodies there.

He’ll get a chance to shine against the Vikings’ defensive line as an interior rusher and as a base defensive end.
