With the Denver Broncos first preseason game just a few days away, Vance Joseph announced how long the first team will see the field on Saturday.
The first preseason game of the 2018 season for the Denver Broncos is just a few days away. Broncos Country cannot wait to see the new look Broncos square up against the Minnesota Vikings. This game alone will have plenty of story lines.
Perhaps the biggest one for me is the battle between the two quarterbacks Denver looked at during the offseason. Case Keenum vs. Kirk Cousins should be an interesting one. We will also get to see former Bronco quarterback Trevor Siemian in action with the second team.

While we will get to see Keenum, Von Miller, and others, the first team will not see much action. According to Vance Joseph, the first team will only see two series. Those two series will most likely take up about half to three-fourths of the first quarter.
Having the starters out there for only two series makes sense. For obvious reasons, the team wants to see the rest of the team in live game action. It will also prevent injuries to the starters at the very best.
One area that Broncos Country will focus on is seeing Von Miller and Bradley Chubb on the field on the same time. The first depth chart has both Miller and Chubb starting opposite from each other. Good luck to the Minnesota offensive line.
Another to focus on is Bradley Roby. He will be opposite of Chris Harris Jr. after Aqib Talib spent many years as the opposite corner. Will Roby be able to fill in those big shoes?
The Denver Broncos will kickoff on Saturday at 7 PM MST. Finally, we have Broncos football. Excited to see how this new team looks.
