Bradley Roby

The Broncos are anticipating big things this year from Bradley Roby and on day five, he was impressive.

Specifically, Roby was impressive in one-on-one work against Emmanuel Sanders, who he was matched up with the entire one-on-one session.

Roby was in a great position no matter what Sanders tried against him, matching him step for step and forcing quarterback Case Keenum to try and fit the ball in an impossible window.

Among the four reps I watched, Sanders was only able to win one and it was on an absolutely perfect throw in great coverage at the very corner of the front of the end zone.

Sanders was working his way back to the ball, and Keenum put the ball just outside the pylon where Sanders had to make a stellar, toe-drag-swag worthy catch.

Roby wasn’t convinced even as the official raised his hands to signal touchdown that Sanders had made a clean catch.

That kind of competitive fire is exactly what the Broncos need to see from their new number two corner.
