The Broncos are looking for a third cornerback to step up with Aqib Talib getting traded to the Los Angeles Rams this offseason.

They have a number of candidates including veteran Tramaine Brock (who is sidelined for a week with a hamstring injury) and also 2017 third round pick Brendan Langley among a number of players but 2018 third-round pick Isaac Yiadom is standing out in the early goings of camp.

Despite not batting 1.000 in terms of his one-on-one battles, Yiadom is showing tremendous ball skills and quickness in his breaks when the ball is in the air.

Yiadom has exceptional length at the cornerback position and blew the Broncos’ coaching staff away at this year’s Senior Bowl, prompting them to draft him at the end of the third round.

In Yiadom, the Broncos have a handsy young cornerback who can potentially crack the rotation with his man coverage skills and confidence even after losing some reps.

He’s made some impressive plays so far in training camp and is making an impression on the coaches.
