The Denver Broncos opened up training camp in 2018 with new excitement and renewed expectations after a dismal 5-11 finish in 2017.

With head coach Vance Joseph returning despite many fans calling for him to be fired throughout the year last year, some fans have been understandably cautious with their optimism for the team going forward.

How will the Broncos respond after such a horrible season?

The early returns at training camp have been mostly positive, including perhaps most importantly reviews on the offensive side of the ball.

Through the first four days of camp, some players have taken advantage and are climbing their way up the depth chart.

On day four of training camp, the pads finally came on and the Broncos got their first taste of ‘real’ football for the 2018 season.

With so many lingering questions for a team that has a chance to go from worst-to-first in 2018, there are a lot of areas to focus on at training camp, but some players have managed to stand out more than the rest.
