Carlos Henderson

While there’s currently not much of a reason to believe Carlos Henderson will make the Broncos’ final roster, I think that will change in the coming weeks.

The team needs to find a way to make sure he gets his career on track.

It could send a bad message to keep him around after the offseason he’s had, but it would send a worse message if the Broncos gave up on a young player struggling to adapt to the next level.

If Henderson doesn’t want to play football, that’s a different story. But if or when he returns, the team has to find a way to get him in the fold.

Isaiah McKenzie beats out Philly Brown and a host of other players vying for spots here, but the Broncos could end up keeping two receivers on the practice squad and make changes as the season goes along.

If Henderson doesn’t report prior to the season, the Broncos need to keep him on the DNR list and save that extra roster spot with so much depth across the board on this roster.
