Running Back

Roster count: Five (eight total)

Check out our full running back position preview here.

Devontae Booker
Royce Freeman
De’Angelo Henderson
Phillip Lindsay
Andy Janovich

While it’s going to be very difficult to make any of these roster cuts in general, cutting guys at running back is going to be really difficult.

The Broncos brought in a couple of rookies they like in Dave Williams (seventh-round pick) and Phillip Lindsay (undrafted free agent) and they also have to decide if the fullback (Andy Janovich) is going to be featured in Bill Musgrave’s offense like the Broncos envisioned when Gary Kubiak was still running the show.

Dave Williams will be an ideal practice squad candidate in this case.
