Comeback Player: Garett Bolles, OT
As it has been for quite some time in the NFL, the left tackle position is one of the most difficult to play.
The position requires the player to face some of the nastiest defenders in the entire league while protecting their quarterback’s blindside (unless, of course, the quarterback is left-handed. However that is fairly uncommon in the league).
The Broncos drafted offensive tackle Garett Bolles in the first round of last year’s draft. His rookie season did not go so well. He was tied for third in the entire league in terms of penalties (12) and and third in terms of sacks given up (8).
While it takes time to adjust to the speed of the game and its players, I believe Bolles will have a much more successful second season. This time, he will be protecting Case Keenum, instead of three different quarterbacks throughout the season.
