Justin Simmons, S

Simmons is only 24 years old and continues to get better every season. With the athleticism and intelligence he possesses there is no reason not to expect another improvement in year three.

While talent alone should be enough of a reason for him to reach the goal, he’ll also have a better surrounding cast. The best thing for a secondary player is a good pass rush.

With a healthier Shane Ray and Bradley Chubb joining Von Miller, the pass rush should be solidified.

To go along with the pass rush the Broncos also added fellow safety Su’a Cravens. Cravens will take pressure off Simmons as he’ll be asked to cover tight ends and running backs.

With Cravens assuming the role Simmons will be able to utilize his athletic ability by being able to play more of the “center field” position.

There are other good safeties but Simmons is just as talented as the 2018 selections.

As long as Simmons plays to his potential the rest should take care of itself. The Broncos have a potential young star on their hands with Simmons.
