Comeback Player: Su’a Cravens, S

Su’a Cravens had a very good rookie season in which he led all ‘linebackers’ in coverage efficiency, showing off his ability to blanket running backs and tight ends in man coverage as well as blitz occasionally and play the run.

While Cravens is not blowing anyone away with his Combine numbers, he’s an instinctive football player whose natural playmaking ability consistently flashed in a variety of positions and roles while at USC.

The Redskins scratched the surface of that potential in his rookie season in 2016, but he was out of football in 2017 after concussion issues and questions about whether or not he still loved the game persisted.

Now fully healthy and fully motivated, Cravens says he wants to be in Denver for a decade and is set to play a major role for this team defensively.

The Broncos have struggled to find ways to cover backs and tight ends in the passing game, and Cravens can help rectify that issue.
