Brendan Langley, age 23

After watching Brendan Langley’s most extensive work in the season finale against the Chiefs, it became a bit clearer why the coaching staff had kept him out of action most of the season.

As a former wide receiver, Langley is a bit of a finesse player yet though his size and strength allow him to be aggressive in press-man coverage.

Against the Chiefs, Langley looked like he wanted no part of making tackles and missed a number of them.

The Broncos knew Langley would be a bit of a project, making the transition to the defensive side of the ball at a smaller school, but he’s been doing the right thing this offseason training with Chris Harris Jr. and Bradley Roby.

If anyone can teach him the ways of the No Fly Zone, it’s those two.

The Broncos would love it if Langley could step into a starting role this season with the departure of Talib. He’s big, athletic, fast, and can also return kicks or punts.
