The Broncos drafted the former ACC defensive player of the year in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and promptly moved him to outside linebacker.

That turned out to be one of many egregious executive decisions made by the coaching staff and front office last year, but Walker is now back where he belongs.

He increased his weight back up to around 280 pounds and will be a terror for opposing offenses when the Broncos include him in their pass rush lineups.

Dreaming up scenarios where the Broncos have Walker in the lineup rushing with the likes of Von Miller, Derek Wolfe, Bradley Chubb, and the many others in this talented defensive front will be a blast for defensive coordinator Joe Woods.

Walker excels as an interior rusher, but he can also clean things up playing from the base defensive end position.

When the Broncos are in their nickel formation, it’s not out of the realm of possibility to expect Walker will be among the team’s most valued players.

He’s a phenomenal interior rusher and should see a breakout 2018 campaign.
