 Running Back Dilemma?

There is one area that serves as the Broncos biggest question heading into training camp: who will run the ball?

Following the departure of CJ Anderson in free agency, the Broncos face many questions at running back.

Devontae Booker and De’Angelo Henderson return for the Broncos but don’t sleep on rookie Royce Freeman.

Freeman was drafted out of Oregon and has a legitimate shot at starting against Seattle week one.

Vance Joseph stated during OTA’s that the competition for the top spot on the depth chart at running back is “wide open.”

Many analysts question the Broncos’ youth and inexperience at the position, but it doesn’t seem to phase the running backs.

"“I think it’s been a good environment. We all understand we’re pretty young. But I think that gives us a chance to grow and see the growth throughout camp, into the preseason and so on and so forth. I’m really excited for that.” – Broncos RB Royce Freeman (via Denver Broncos PR)"

The Broncos offense gets to work on July 28th at UC Health Training Center.
