Denver Broncos: Ron Leary Ready For Training Camp

Ron Leary was one of the better offensive linemen for the Denver Broncos during the 2017 season. Missing time with a foot injury, he appears ready to go.

Denver’s offensive line was one of the weaker units on the team. No matter who was at quarterback, it would be a nightmare trying to escape from the pressure. In my opinion, only two players on the offensive line helped. Ron Leary and Matt Paradis.

Leary suffered a foot injury towards the end of the season and missed the remainder of the year. To get him back to speed, the coaching staff decided to hold him out of offseason activities.

The move seemed to work as Leary said during his appearance on the Orange and Blue 760 radio station that he will be good to go for training camp in a couple weeks.

The Denver Broncos will look to improve on offense. Having a healthy Ron Leary throughout the season could be key. Having him protect the quarterback from the inside will make a huge difference.

As it stands now, it would appear that Leary will join Garret Bolles, Matt Paradis, Connor McGovern, and Jared Veldheer as the starting five protecting Case Keenum. That could end up becoming a solid unit as long as they remain healthy.

This offensive line could be a solid unit. With all of the struggles on offense the past few years, it is time we did not always rely on the defense to make a play. It is about time the offense to make some noise.

Ron Leary figures to play a huge part in opening up the running game that features a young backfield. His reliability will benefit the entire Broncos offense.

Hopefully, Leary does not skip a beat once training camp begins. He will be a big part of the offense’s success in 2018.
