Running Back:

1. Devontae Booker
2. Royce Freeman
3. De’Angelo Henderson
4. Andy Janovich (FB)

Now, this is a fun area to watch on the Broncos’ offense.

C.J. Anderson is gone to Carolina and the backfield has gotten younger. There isn’t much leadership in the Broncos’ backfield, so somebody will have to step up in both the starting running back area, as well as become a leader.

It would not surprise me if rookie draft pick Royce Freeman becomes the lead back at some point in the season. However, I have a feeling the Broncos will go with the older guy to start out because he has been around longer and is used to seeing things rookies are not used to. Of course, that’s not to say that the other guys won’t see time on the field. I just think Booker will start out as the lead back for the Denver Broncos.

I do expect the Broncos will have an extra running back, along with their top three. That guy will be fullback Andy Janovich.

Offensive Linemen:

Left tackle: Garett Bolles; Cyrus Kouandjio
Left guard: Ronald Leary; Max Garcia
Center: Matt Paradis
Right guard: Connor McGovern; Sam Jones
Right tackle: Jared Veldheer; Menelik Watson

The Broncos solved their problems at right tackle (at least for now) when they acquired lineman Jared Veldheer in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals. They have an alright group overall, but it is still iffy.

For the most part, I think the team will have guys retained from last year be high on the depth chart. There are a couple new players acquired this offseason that will surely make a quick impact.
