Draft info: 98th overall selection (3rd round) of the 2016 NFL Draft

The No Fly Zone has gotten a little dose of what Justin Simmons can do for the organization.

A third-round draft pick out of Boston College, Simmons got his starting gig last season. But even in 2016, we saw the flashes that he can provide.

So far in his career, he has recorded four interceptions. In Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins, he recorded his first pick-six, returning a Jay Cutler pass 65 yards to the end zone. I believe his performance in this past season shows what he is capable of as a starter.

He is also responsible for a big win in New Orleans as he blocked an extra point that led to the game-winning two-point return.

It is crazy to think Simmons was available in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He has been playing like a first or second rounder to this point. His third season with the Denver Broncos will tell us a lot about what he can do for the long term, in my opinion. If the Broncos defense can get back to the championship caliber mode, there is no doubt Justin Simmons can play a big factor into that. (Predominantly Orange editor Ty Walden)
