7. Trevor Siemian, QB

Draft info: 250th overall selection (7th round) of the 2015 NFL Draft

Broncos Country might not call this much of a steal considering how his career in Denver was. But when you look at the grand scheme of things, Trevor Siemian’s stats were not too shabby for a seventh-round draft pick.

At best, they were as solid as they can be for the position that he was drafted in.

Note that not many seventh-round quarterbacks get the opportunity to make an NFL roster, let alone start as many games as Trevor Siemian did. In his 24 starts with the Denver Broncos, he compiled a 13-11 record.

Some of the numbers were not that great as he recorded a 59.3 completion percentage. Siemian did record over 5,000 yards passing in two seasons with 30 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.

During the 2016 season, Trevor Siemian looked the part. Starting the season 4-0, it appeared as if he could be the long-term starter. However, due to injuries, inconsistencies, and teams having enough film on him, his career in Denver was cut short.

An interesting stat is that since Peyton Manning’s retirement, Siemian was the quarterback on the winning side in 13 of the 14 wins. While the team was not looking good, Trevor Siemian did his best to do what he could for the franchise. Hopefully, he finds success in his career with Minnesota and beyond. (Predominantly Orange editor Ty Walden)
