The Denver Broncos’ offense has been pathetic since the start of the 2015 season.

Here are their offensive rankings since the start of the season where they actually ended up winning Super Bowl 50:

2015: Scoring – 19th, Yards – 16th
2016: Scoring – 22nd, Yards – 27th
2017: Scoring – 27th, Yards – 17th

In addition to ranking near the bottom of the NFL in scoring offense in 2017, the Broncos ranked 31st in the NFL (ahead of only the Browns) in giveaways (34).

In addition to their 34 giveaways (22 of which were interceptions), the Broncos allowed a whopping 52 sacks in 2017, the third worst number in the NFL behind the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.

Needless to say, the Broncos’ offense needs a spark. They went out this offseason and made some significant moves, moves that could vault this offense from the league’s bottom dwellers to perhaps near the top of the NFL.

Here are five major factors that could help the Broncos’ offense succeed in 2018.
