3. Khalil Mack, Oakland Raiders
2017 stats: 16 games, 78 total tackles, 10.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble
In four seasons with the Oakland Raiders, Khalil Mack has never missed a game.
In 64 games, he’s become one of the most feared edge rushers in all of the NFL, and for good reason.
Mack is a powerful pass rusher with incredible speed and ability to finish.
From 2015-17, Mack has racked up 36.5 of his 40.5 career sacks. He’s established himself as a perennial All-Pro and is one of the most disruptive players on a per-play basis as both a pass rusher and run defender.
In 2017, Mack was third in the entire NFL with 55 total hurries on opposing quarterbacks, and he also racked up 53 stops in the running game (tackles for no gain or for a loss) to lead all edge players.
As a pure pass rusher, it’s hard to differentiate the top five players in the AFC West, and Mack being number three on this list is not meant to be a slight to his game. The other rushers in this division are just that good…
