2017 stats: 16 games, 56 total tackles, 10.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble

Over the past three years, Chargers pass rusher Melvin Ingram has been on an absolute tear.

With Joey Bosa entering the picture in 2016, Ingram’s game took a step seemingly to the next level as both players simply cannot be blocked one-on-one.

Ingram’s career got off to a slow start, but he’s proven to be one of the league’s most dangerous edge rushers and put together one of the best years of any pass rusher in the NFL in 2017 with 53 hurries on the quarterback, and 12 hits.

Ingram’s speed and strength off the edge are impossible to contain.

He’s a freakish athlete who can win with burst off the snap, speed to power, and flat-out effort.

Ingram is not only one of the league’s top pass rushers but has also developed into one of the best edge defenders in the NFL.
