Matt Paradis

Matt Paradis is the forgotten gem on the Denver Broncos previously dismal offensive line. With the line revamped and Paradis finally healthy, I expect casual fans will become much more familiar with the Broncos center.

Despite battling injuries all last season that left Paradis missing most practices, he still started every game. In fact, he hasn’t missed a game since stepping into the starters role in his second year.

As far as statistics go, he posted a 75.2 rating according to Pro Football Focus, good for 8th. The previous year, Paradis posted a career high 90.4 rating which made him the top center in the league. Additionally, he allowed no sacks last year, the only Broncos starter that can claim that.

Paradis’ chance of making the Ring of Fame depends on his injury status and his ability to secure a long-term contract with Denver. Elway drafted a possible project/replacement in Colorado native Sam Jones, and contract negotiations have yet to begin.
