De’Angelo Henderson, RB

De’Angelo Henderson is not necessarily flying under the radar for Denver Broncos fans, but for people outside of Broncos Country, he may be a surprise impact player.

Most seem to be expecting the Broncos to go with either Devontae Booker or Royce Freeman as the team’s lead back. That is probably the pecking order at this point, but Henderson was special in last year’s preseason and regular season finale and might have the team’s most well-rounded skill set at the position.

His combination of vision, speed, lateral quickness and power make him an ideal candidate to snipe some carries from the other backs on the roster.

Henderson inexplicably didn’t get a chance to shine last season despite the Broncos desperately needing an infusion of talent offensively, but perhaps this season he will get that chance.
