Shelby Harris, DL

Shelby Harris proved to be an excellent part-time player for the Broncos last season after signing on as a reserve/futures contract player in January.

The Broncos’ development of Harris paid off in a big way last season, as he was able to rack up 5.5 sacks in limited action and also sealed a week-one victory by blocking a last-second field goal attempt by the Los Angeles Chargers.

Harris’ quickness on the interior and unique scheme versatility could make him an extension candidate for the Broncos.

The only issue in the way of this is, the Broncos have a plethora of defensive line talent, and possibly not enough mouths to feed.

They signed a multi-year deal with Clinton McDonald this offseason as well, so Harris is going to have to prove that last season was no fluke if he’s going to get an extension for 2019 and beyond.
