Jared Veldheer, OT

The Broncos made a trade this past offseason for Jared Veldheer with the Arizona Cardinals, giving up a sixth-round draft pick to acquire his services.

Veldheer has some experience at right tackle, but the Broncos want to see how it will work for an entire season without moving him around.

If Veldheer can prove himself a worthy bookend with Garett Bolles, the Broncos may deem it worthwhile to extend him a new contract after the season.

As a matter of fact, if this tackle combination works for the Broncos, this may be among the team’s top priorities.

Stabilizing the offensive line should be a primary goal of the Broncos’ front office over the next year or so, and if Veldheer is part of that solution, they will need to find a way to keep him on the roster.
