1. Phillip Rivers

Here’s where we get to the whole body of work. In the AFC West, there’s been no quarterback better in the division than Phillip Rivers.

Rivers is the true pocket passer, but proves a traditional throwing motion is meaningless. All that matters is whether or not the ball is accurate, on time, and perfect. One of the biggest reasons Rivers is one of the best quarterbacks to play is how he raises the level of play of the guys around him.

There have been numerous times wide receivers or tight ends do not appear to be the most talented. Yet, Rivers gets the most out of them. However, this also means the weapons Rivers throws to are very underrated and underappreciated.

Until Rivers hangs up the cleats for retirement, do not expect this place on this ranking list to change. Rivers is a once in a generation talent playing quarterback. The Denver Broncos were fortunate to snag Peyton Manning in free agency.

There’s no question Phillip Rivers is Hall of Fame worthy like Manning.
