8. Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Williams, DL
The Kansas City Chiefs took on a great deal of change on their roster this offseason. One area that needed addressing was the defensive line, where Bennie Logan was only marginally effective after signing a one-year contract as a free agent in 2017.
Xavier Williams has been mostly a backup player for the Cardinals the past three seasons but played well in relief as a nose tackle.
The Chiefs are banking on the Kansas City, MO native being a key contributor to their defensive line with his ability to stop the run and penetrate gaps.
He had 20 tackles and a forced fumble this past season and will work to open up opportunities for Chiefs pass rushers by occupying multiple blockers on the interior.
