9. Oakland Raiders: Ryan Switzer, WR/PR
Another very underrated move for the Oakland Raiders this offseason was a draft weekend trade with the Dallas Cowboys to acquire wide receiver/punt returner Ryan Switzer.
Switzer was a rookie in 2017 after a stellar career at North Carolina. Many of us in Broncos Country wanted to see Switzer in orange and blue before Dallas drafted him, but after they started to sign/draft so many slot players, he became expendable.
The area Switzer will help the most immediately for the Raiders is on special teams, where he has very unique vision and quickness with the football. He seemingly scored at will while he was at UNC, and became an All-American as a result.
The Raiders didn’t pay too high of a price to get him, and most people have probably already forgotten about this move.
It could pay huge dividends for the Raiders this year.
