5. The ridiculous touchdown pass to DT vs. MIN

As the Broncos continued to inexplicably win game leading up to the 2011 playoffs, many still doubted that Denver could win a game where Tebow had to throw the ball more than 10 times.

Star rookie Von Miller wasn’t playing in this game, and neither was Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson.

There were many defensive players who wanted to impose their will on Tebow in the NFL, but one player who seemed to hate him more than others was Vikings defensive end, Jared Allen.

Tebow and the Broncos stunned the Vikings and the Broncos’ offense went toe-to-toe with the Vikings in this high-scoring affair, but it was thanks to more second-half heroics from number 15.

The most incredible play in this game came when Tebow had to avoid some pressure and roll out to his left. The play looked like it was finished and that Tebow had run out of bounds, but before he touched the sideline, he fired a pass downfield to a wide-open Demaryius Thomas who scampered into the end zone for six.

Midway through the fourth quarter, the Broncos trailed by eight points and the defense was unable to do anything to stop Vikings receiver Percy Harvin.

The Broncos’ offense needed to respond with how easily the Vikings were scoring the ball, and Tebow came out firing.

With 9:33 remaining in the fourth quarter, Tebow runs a play-action fake and steps up in the pocket, making a deep throw downfield to Demaryius Thomas for a huge gain. That set up an incredible touchdown run from Willis McGahee, and the Broncos were down by two points.

Tebow kept the ball on an option play to convert a two-point play and the Broncos tied the game.

They ended up trading field goals before an interception set up the game-winning field goal by Matt Prater, and the Broncos improved to 7-5 on the season.
