9. Touchdown to Eddie Royal vs. PIT

The Broncos were shut out in the first quarter of their playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the defense held tight only allowing six points.

The offense was used to being able to dig out of relatively small holes, but it wasn’t often that the Broncos played with an urgency in the passing game like they did in the second quarter against the Steelers.

On 3rd and 12, Tebow fired a deep ball down the left sideline perfectly to hit Demaryius Thomas for a big gain and followed it up with a beautiful touchdown pass to Eddie Royal.

Tebow looks off the safety on the other side of the field and fires to Royal with great touch, and Royal makes an incredible catch for a touchdown.

This pass play set the tone for the rest of the game. Tebow was not always ‘hot’ as a passer but in this game, he found a bit of a hot streak and it started on this drive at the beginning of the second quarter.
