Phillip Lindsay, age 23

The beloved local prospect Phillip Lindsay has had Broncos Country calling for the team to pick him up since he wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.

Lindsay was phenomenal in testing at the Colorado pro day, running a 4.37-second 40-yard dash and posting great numbers in all other drills.

Lindsay’s size seems to indicate he won’t be a grinder between the tackles in the NFL, but there is a place for him on the Broncos’ roster as a change-of-pace back, receiver, and return specialist.

Lindsay’s best season came in 2016 when Colorado as a team had a lot more success. He ended up with 1,745 yards from scrimmage that season with 17 total touchdowns and has racked up 32 total touchdowns over the past two seasons.

We talked about Lindsay on the latest episode of The Juice…

With his speed and quickness, Lindsay is tough to track down in the open field. When he gets into space, he is a dangerous player.

The Broncos have incorporated Lindsay into their top offense a bit already, so it won’t be a surprise if he ends up making the final roster.
