D-Ware University/Health concerns

The biggest news in recent weeks is the official hiring of DeMarcus Ware as a part-time pass rush consultant for the Broncos.

Ware was obviously a key leader for the team from 2014-16, and a major reason why the Broncos won Super Bowl 50.

Now, he’s teaching his tricks to the team’s pass rushers, which unfortunately suffered a number of injuries or setbacks in OTAs.

Deiontrez Mount suffered a season-ending Achilles injury, and Shane Ray discovered he needed a fourth procedure on his surgically repaired wrist, which was injured nearly a year ago.

Ray didn’t re-injure the wrist but noticed that it wasn’t progressing as it should have been.

Even without Ray or Mount, the Broncos have an enviable edge rusher group led by Von Miller, Shaquil Barrett, rookie Bradley Chubb, and OTA star Jeff Holland.

This position group is arguably the best and most talented from top to bottom on the entire roster.
