DENVER, CO – SEPTEMBER 17: Outside linebacker Von Miller #58 of the Denver Broncos runs onto the field during player introductions before a game against the Dallas Cowboys at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on September 17, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Justin Edmonds/Getty Images) /

Defensive Line/Linebackers

Defensive linemen: Derek Wolfe, Adam Gotsis, Zach Kerr, Shelby Harris, Demarcus Walker, Domata Peko, Clinton McDonald

Wolfe, Harris and Peko shined on the Broncos defensive line last season. They will continue to do so on an already very talented defense.

Peko and Harris will come back to the Broncos to help the run defense. Add Clinton McDonald to the group and this defensive line could be one of the top in the entire league.

Linebackers: Von Miller, Shaquill Barrett, Brandon Marshall, Todd Davis, Bradley Chubb, Josey Jewell, Marcus Rush (Shane Ray – PUP; does not count against 53-man roster)

This part of the Denver defense. Wow. Von Miller will return as the Broncos’ defensive leader and one of, if not THE best, linebackers in the entire league. Marshall is a solid middle linebacker.

Chubb, the #5 overall pick in the 2018 draft, and Jewell, a linebacker that reminds me of a hard-hitting safety (Steve Atwater), will both be big contributors as rookies.

I cannot say this enough: the linebacker group of the 2018 Denver Broncos is an exciting one.
