Wide Receivers

Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Cortland Sutton, DaeSean Hamilton, Carlos Henderson, Kenny Bell

The first four wide receivers on my list are surely going to be on the roster. Thomas and Sanders are 1-2 on the depth chart, respectfully. Sutton and Hamilton were drafted this year to help the depth of the receiver position. Henderson missed last season due to an injury.

Here’s an interesting one: Kenny Bell. Bell was a fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2015. He also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens (2016-2017) before signing with the Broncos as a free agent. Bell’s father also played in the NFL, fittingly with the Broncos.

At the 2015 scouting combine, Bell ran a speedy 4.38 4o-yard dash.

The addition of Bell on the 53-man roster meant that one or two of last year’s young guys had to go. Isiah McKenzie struggled last season catching punts and is a really small player, so in reality, he could be on the roster bubble.

Jordan Taylor, a guy once praised by the great Peyton Manning, is recovering from double hip surgery so he is also at risk of losing his roster spot.
