Matt LaCosse
6’6″ 255 pounds (25 years old)
Matt LaCosse has been in the NFL since 2015 when he came in as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois, signing with the New York Giants out of college.
After initially being cut by the Giants, LaCosse signed with the New York Jets and was there for a short period before eventually re-signing with the Giants.
His second stint with the Giants included some regular season action, where he recorded the first and only three catches of his NFL career up to this point.
Last December, the Broncos poached LaCosse off of the Giants’ practice squad after he showed well in the 2017 preseason, having battled the two previous seasons with injuries.
LaCosse is going to need to show really well in camp and the preseason to have a shot at the Broncos’ active roster, but he’s certainly got the size and pass catching ability to make an impact.
