Austin Traylor

6’3″ 255 pounds (24 years old)

Rumors swirled in training camp in 2017 that Austin Traylor was a player the coaches were really pleased with.

After just missing the final roster cut, Traylor was placed on the team’s practice squad and called up for the team’s final seven games.

He even made three starts for the Broncos and proved himself to be a valuable weapon as a blocker and pass catcher.

Now, we’re not going to get out of hand here because Traylor caught just eight passes last season, but he came up and replaced A.J. Derby, whom the Broncos had traded a fifth-round draft pick for the previous season.

The Broncos’ scouting department obviously really likes this young player, and if he can show signs of progression at training camp in 2018, perhaps he can once again crack the active roster and contribute as a backup and special teams ace.
