The Denver Broncos have plenty of youth at the tight end experience.

As a matter of fact, the Broncos have six players on their roster at the tight end position with a combined 30 career receptions.

Of those 30 career receptions, 18 belong to fourth-year player Jeff Heuerman, who missed his entire rookie season and has caught nine passes in each of the past two seasons.

Three of those 30 receptions came in the 2015 season from Matt LaCosse, who is fighting this offseason for a roster spot. Another one of those receptions came from Brian Parker, also in 2015, the only reception he’s made in his NFL career.

The Broncos obviously have some very young guys at this position but even so, 30 receptions would have ranked tied for 26th in the NFL on an individual basis last season alone.

They need to find a way to get production from this position, and they need to find it quickly.

Let’s dive into the personnel and what each player brings to the table, and how they can help the Broncos get that number at least doubled in 2018…
