DeShawn Williams, Defensive Tackle

If we’re looking for the next Shelby Harris, Williams might be it.

An undrafted free agent out of Georgia in 2015, Williams has been close but unable to crack the Bengals’ defensive line rotation on a full-time basis.

He’s been a pre-season star, no doubt, showing off strong ability to rush from the interior, but it hasn’t quite clicked for him in the NFL.

Williams did some work this offseason with Los Angeles Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald, among other NFL athletes, and despite the Broncos having a very deep interior line group, has a chance to stand out.

Williams knows Domata Peko very well from his time with the Bengals, and obviously Vance Joseph as well. He’s in a good situation with so many strong players around him and has obviously been putting in the work.

Maybe this year will be the first year that everything really clicks.
