Josey Jewell turning heads

Josey Jewell has been turning heads since day one. It feels like we’ve talked about him ad nauseam here over the course of the offseason but how could you ever get sick of talking about this guy?

Jewell made an impression on fellow linebacker Brandon Marshall, who said that he’s a smart, intense, hard worker who ‘knows what he’s doing already’.

That’s high praise from a veteran like Marshall, who’s played at a high level in this league for a few years now.

Jewell also received an incredibly high compliment when he was called ‘Jo-ell’ by Domata Peko, who says he doesn’t take the time to memorize rookies’ names until they make the team.

I guess even a mispronunciation from a veteran like Peko is a clear sign that Jewell is not only going to make the team but make an impact as a rookie.
