Denver Broncos fourth round draft selection DaeSean Hamilton could be something special. His skill sets could make him a contributor for years.

DaeSean Hamilton could be one of the interesting prospects that the Denver Broncos drafted in a while. While the team is solid at the wide receiver position, Hamilton brings quite the skill set to the receiving corp. One area that he thrives in is the red zone.

Denver was dead last in 2017 in red zone efficiency, scoring a touchdown in just over 39 percent of those trips. Kicking field goals and turning the football over is not going to help a team win games. While Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are good receivers, they had a difficult time getting into the end zone.

The quarterback situation during the 2017 season did not help either. Denver will benefit from having Case Keenum under center. Having a receiver like Hamilton will benefit as well.

DaeSean Hamilton’s ability to jump up and get to the football is quite remarkable. Whether it’s a side line catch or jumping in the corner of the end zone, he can get the football.

If the Denver Broncos place him in the slot position, he also has the ability to makes moves in the open space, as seen during his time at Penn State. Denver lacks any receivers that can play in the slot. Emmanuel Sanders is naturally a slot receiver, but based on the current roster, he is the second wide receiver.

With his skill set, DaeSean Hamilton will be a player that Broncos Country needs to keep their eyes on. The receiver position has a quarterback that can make the plays. But it will depend on if the receivers themselves can thrive. DaeSean Hamilton is a receiver that can make those plays for the Denver Broncos offense.
