Denver Broncos Won’t Add to Ring of Fame in 2018
By Tylor Walden
The Denver Broncos Ring of Fame is one of the biggest honors in the NFL today. 2018 will not see a new member added for the first time in six years.
What comes to mind when Denver Broncos players are inducted in the Ring of Fame? Hard work, dedication, and living up to the expectations of Broncos Country. The prestigious honor has 32 names up on the stadium.
2018 will not get to see a player inducted. For the first time in six years, the Denver Broncos are foregoing honoring anyone with their names up. Some famous Denver Broncos have been added to the Ring of Fame during that time. Dan Reeves, Red Miller, Rod Smith, and Pat Bowlen are just some of the names enshrined during those six years.
Perhaps the Denver Broncos organization did not see the need to add any players this season. But there should be some that could be up there next season.
One name that comes to mind that could find himself in the Broncos Ring of Fame is cornerback Champ Bailey. Retired in 2014, Bailey became one of the most decorated defensive backs in Denver Broncos history. The Pro Football Hall of Fame could also be in Bailey’s future starting in 2018.

Do not fret Broncos Country. There will be more additions to the Ring of Fame. The time just was not right to add anyone else to the mix.
Be on the lookout in the next couple years. There could be some solid candidates in the near future. But for this season, Broncos home games will go on without any halftime ceremonies.
What are some names that you would like to see added to the Broncos Ring of Fame? There are a few that I would not mind seeing.
