With 13 players to evaluate, no position group had more of a varied composite than the wide receiver position on the Broncos.

There are players who are as big as 6-foot-5 among this group, as well as one player as small as 5-foot-7.

With that considered, if you were to compile a list of receivers that are most likely to make the Broncos, their composite score would probably be close to what we have here anyway.

The average athlete on the team at WR compares very favorably to Carlos Henderson with a little more height.

The Broncos clearly value speed at this position, averaging a sub-4.5 second 40-yard dash among 13 different players. They also value quickness and explosiveness, with 13 guys averaging a vertical jump over 36 inches and a three-cone time under 6.9 seconds.

Courtland Sutton finished third in this category at the 2018 Scouting Combine, and DaeSean Hamilton finished 7th. Isaiah McKenzie finished second at last year’s Combine (6.64) and Kenny Bell was third in his class (6.66). Emmanuel Sanders had a blistering 6.60 at the 2010 Scouting Combine.

More than any other position on the roster, the Broncos value ‘traits’ players at wide receiver.
