Cornerback

Additions: Tramaine Brock, Isaac Yiadom

Lost: Aqib Talib

In a salary cap motivated move, the Broncos traded Talib to the Rams for a 5th round selection. Talib may have taken a step back last year but the trio of Talib, Chris Harris Jr, and Bradley Roby was still among the leagues best. Brock and Yiadom will provide depth but do not bring the same playmaking and coverage ability that Talib has.

The Verdict: Worse

Moving on from Talib was a financially motivated move by the Broncos but it also allows Bradley Roby to get more playing time as the cornerback opposite Chris Harris Jr. The Broncos still have a solid cornerback group, but they are left with a hole at their 3rd cornerback position. Another training camp battle to keep an eye on is for the 3rd and 4th corner positions.
