Outside Linebacker

Additions: Bradley Chubb, Jeff Holland

Losses: None

With the 5th overall selection, the Broncos drafted NC State pass rusher, Bradley Chubb. The team was surprised Chubb was available and selected him instead of trading down. Adding Chubb to an already formidable group of edge rushers brings back memories of the pass rush the Broncos had when they won Super Bowl 50.

The Broncos also added Jeff Holland as an undrafted free agent. Holland projects as a solid depth player with upside to develop into a starter. If Holland impresses in training camp, he could easily make the roster and make Shane Ray or Shaq Barrett, both on expiring contracts, expendable.

The Verdict: Improved

Adding a talent like Chubb without losing anyone makes this an easy decision.
