Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon

I’ve been a big fan of Royce Freeman for a couple of years now.

The man known as ‘Rolls Royce’ in Eugene is set to become the new ‘bell cow’ for the Denver Broncos.

At least, that is what John Elway said he envisioned when they drafted him.

Freeman has been ultra consistent over the course of his career with the Oregon Ducks and was virtually unstoppable racking up 60 career rushing touchdowns.

One of the main reasons draftniks don’t care for Freeman opposed to other running back prospects is the fact that he carried the ball almost 950 times in college. That’s a lot of work for a young running back, but Freeman is still young and showed at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine with his 4.54-second 40-yard dash and 34-inch vertical jump that he’s also still very explosive.

Combined with his vision as a back and ability to get North and South in a hurry, Freeman could end up being a steal for the Broncos and should contend for the team lead in carries as a rookie.
