Every year, there are some new players that end up surprising everybody. Here are five players on the Denver Broncos that could shock fans, in a good way.

The Denver Broncos have some success when it comes to late-round draft picks. There’s bound to be a surprise or two when it comes to the Broncos’ final roster.

For example, remember the guy with the initials TD? That’s right: Denver Broncos Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis.

Davis started his career off with a bang. He had over 1,100 yards in his rookie season, and followed that with three more seasons with over 1,000 yards. In his fourth year, he eclipsed 2,000 yards on the ground.

Then there is Rod Smith, the Broncos’ all-time leader in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. Unlike Davis, Smith went undrafted. The odds of an undrafted player succeeding in the NFL is much less than a drafted guy.

I’m by no means saying we’ll see that production from any of the rookies the Broncos will have during the 2018 season, but there is potential for greatness in every group of players teams have on their roster.

Here are some possibilities of guys who could earn their way onto the team and have major success.
